About ¡Vamos! Spanish
A Spanish course for English-speaking children aged 8 to 12, following the KS2 languages topics from Year 3 to Year 6. Everything is explained in English and every word is spoken in Spanish. Children travel from Madrid to Mexico, Seville and Buenos Aires learning greetings, numbers, colours, family, pets, food, the time, the weather, the town, clothes and shopping. Each topic mixes short activities (listen and pick, read, match up, el or la, spell, build a sentence, put in order, type the number) and the words they miss come back later until they stick. Coins buy animals, hats and colours for their avatar, the Challenge has a weekly leaderboard, and the Class game lets two to four teams play on the whiteboard.
